Alyssa Lane

Alyssa earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science with a focus in Public Policy from Northern Illinois University, before earning her law degree from Valparaiso University Law School.  While in law school, Alyssa was a participant in her school’s Trial Advocacy Team and a volunteer with the university’s Criminal Law Clinic.

Prior to joining Trivedi & Khan, Ms. Lane spent time gaining practical experience as a prosecutor with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.  Alyssa then transitioned to commercial litigation where she focused her practice on representation of nursing homes and long-term care facilities in a variety of claims including medical malpractice, personal and institutional negligence, as well as wrongful death.  Ms. Lane’s experience spans all levels of litigation including written discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial, and appellate work.  Alyssa is active in her community as a member of the Illinois Defense Bar, as well as the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law.
